What place brings to the table

The best experiences do not simply happen in a destination. They pay attention to it, from what grows nearby to who makes the meal.

It would be easy to pick a pretty venue and hand out the same program anywhere. We would rather let the place do some of the talking.

Close to home, in McCall

Our Workshops lean on the people and places around us. Our autumn workshop happens at Creekside Nursery because that is where the flowers grow and where the people who know them best can show you what to do with them.

Far from home, in Sitka

In Sitka, the days are shaped by the forest, the water and the season. We forage what is ripe, eat what came out of the sea that morning and spend time with the makers and guides who call the island home.

When an experience is rooted in its place, you don't just visit. You get a taste of how life is lived there, and you bring a little of it home with you.
